A relaxed gathering of Jr. High & Sr. High youth for "coffee-house style" refreshments and discussion of a "faith-expanding" book.

 

Currently, we are reading Be The Change by Zach Hunter.  According to the book's cover, Zach is a 15 year old abolitionist and activist, spending much of his time working to end slavery around the world.  He is the student spokesperson for The Amazing Change Campaign, which is inspired by the film Amazing Grace.

POWER J.A.M. KICK-OFF Sept. 15 with a Carnival, 6:30-8:00 PM.  It will continue on Wednesday nights through Dec. 15, with an exciting new format and focus with an emphasis on FUN, FRIENDSHIP & JESUS!

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED:  Activity leaders and assistants who will serve on a monthly rotation as well as substitutes.  This is a vital ministry of the church—join the team today.  Sign up on the bulletin board or see Ruth Harlan, Jenn Pelligrene or Pastor Russ to volunteer.
