What is EMW?
An EMW group (Evangelical Methodist Women) is found in each local Evangelical Methodist Church (EMC). Our purpose is to unite the women of the EMC in a continuing effort to develop Christian living and service; to promote a wider knowledge and interest in both the home and foreign mission fields; to assist in and encourage the Christian education of our youth; and to take part in Christian activities that will strengthen the local church and community.
How do we accomplish our mission? Each local EMW meets monthly with a time of fellowship, activities, devotion, and plans activities to reach out to the women in their local churches and communities.
Who can be a part of the EMW? Any woman who attends a local Evangelical Methodist Church.
